The Rose of Tralee festival just finished up again for another year and we were delighted to be a part of it again this year. We sponsored our gorgeous Dublin Rose, Lorna Whyte for the 2016 Rose of Tralee festival.
Before Lorna headed off on her exciting adventure with the 64 other Roses, she sent me over photos of her outfits which she had lined up for the duration of the festival. Lorna, obviously packing very wisely, needed just 3 clutch bags that she could mix and match with the outfits for the week. Lorna was also sponsored by Ashleigh Myles, a fantastic milliner who I have had the pleasure of collaborating with previously. Discussing designs with Ashleigh and Lorna was a pleasure and I knew we could create some gorgeous bags which would compliment both the dresses and Ashleigh’s stunning head pieces.
Given that Lorna had a number of dresses of different colours, we decided to go for a monochrome clutch bag which would undoubtedly go with a variety of colours. If you follow Designed 4 You on Instagram, you would have caught a glimpse of the brand new lace design in the making…

I have to admit, I fell in love with this design myself and could not wait to see the finished bag! It was a first adding lace to the over-sized zipper clutch and I was delighted with how the bag came together. I will admit, I plan on making more of these in different colours too!
In addition, we choose a nude bow box clutch (as every gal needs a nude clutch) and a stunning silver glitz clutch to glam up any dress for evening wear. Our signature bow clutch is a Designed 4 You favourite. The very first clutch I made for Designed 4 You was a bow clutch, so I particularly love to make these for customers!
The third and final clutch made for our Dublin Rose was our very popular Sophia Glitz in Silver. If you love a bit of sparkle and glitter, you’ll love our Sophia Glitz. This bag will certainly bling up any outfit.
Lorna was delighted with her 3 bags created especially for her time at the Rose of Tralee. We were thrilled to receive a number of photos of Lorna out and about with our bags. I think it is safe to say Lorna took a particular liking to our signature Bow Clutch in nude faux leather as seen below…. Given my own love of this bag, I’m delighted that Lorna loved it too! 😀
